Booking & membership terms

Pay-as-you-go classes

Pay-as-you-go classes cost £10 (Friday Vinyasa), £12 (Wednesday in person) or £8 (Wednesday online). Payment is taken at class — cash, bank transfer, or card on Jenny’s card machine. Booking does not require advance payment.

A booking reserves your mat. In-person classes are limited to 16 people. If a class is full, Jenny will let you know and offer to add you to a waiting list.

Cancelling a pay-as-you-go booking

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel so your place can go to someone on the waiting list. Message Jenny on Instagram (@yogawithjennyg) or email info@jennygyoga.co.uk. Late cancellations or repeated no-shows may be charged at Jenny’s discretion.

New-student intro offer

New students may try 3 classes for £20 — any mix of Wednesday and Friday, in person or online, valid for 4 weeks from the date of the first class in the package. Mention the offer when you book your first class; there is no voucher code. The offer is available once per person to students who have not previously attended a class with Yoga with Jenny. It cannot be combined with a membership or any other discount.

Memberships

Two monthly memberships are available:

  • Unlimited Membership — £60/month: every Wednesday class (in person or online) and every Friday class in person.
  • Online Membership — £22/month: every Wednesday class online via Zoom.

Classes run every week except Christmas week. Membership prices are based on a conservative 50 teaching weeks a year. Occasionally a class may be led by a cover teacher; this does not affect your membership.

Payment

Membership fees are collected monthly in advance by Direct Debit through GoCardless, a UK-regulated payment institution. Direct Debits are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee: you are entitled to a full and immediate refund from your bank of any payment taken in error. For more information ask your bank or visit directdebit.co.uk.

Cancelling your membership

You may cancel your membership at any time by giving one month’s notice in writing to info@jennygyoga.co.uk. Your membership and your access to classes continues in full throughout that final month. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the notice period; there is no facility for instant mid-month cancellation or pro-rata refunds of a payment already collected.

Please do not cancel your Direct Debit directly with your bank before giving notice to Jenny, as this may result in an outstanding balance.

Pausing a membership

If you need to take a break (for example due to injury or extended absence), contact Jenny to discuss. Pauses are handled on a case-by-case basis; there is no automatic pause facility at this stage.

Class cancellation by Jenny

If a class must be cancelled — for example, due to illness or a problem at the venue — everyone booked will be notified as promptly as possible. Pay-as-you-go students will receive a full refund of any advance payment made, or a credit against a future class at their choice. Members will not be charged for a cancelled class; where a monthly payment has already been collected, a pro-rata credit or refund will be arranged at Jenny’s discretion.

Online class conduct

For Wednesday classes on Zoom:

  • The Zoom link is personal to you and is sent by email for your use only. Please do not share it publicly or forward it to others.
  • Jenny teaches to the video grid, so having your camera on during practice helps her see you and give accurate cues. If you would prefer not to appear on camera, let her know before the class begins.
  • Please join from a space with enough room to move safely and where background noise is manageable. Muting yourself when not speaking helps the class run smoothly.
  • Recording any part of a class — video or audio — without Jenny’s explicit prior permission is not permitted.

Health, safety and your responsibility

Yoga is a physical activity and carries a risk of injury, as any movement practice does. You are responsible for practising within your own limits and for telling Jenny about any relevant injuries, health conditions, or medications before class. Jenny’s teaching is general instruction for a group; it is not medical advice and does not replace individual assessment by a qualified healthcare professional. If you are ever unsure whether a particular activity is suitable for your health, seek medical advice before participating.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yoga with Jenny’s liability arising from your participation in classes is limited to the amount paid for the class or membership period giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.

You attend and participate at your own risk. Jenny is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property at the venue or during an online session.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
