Wednesday

Develop Your Practice

£12 in person · £8 online

A student in a low lunge at the front of the class, others following behind in the church hall

This is the class for understanding your yoga, not just doing it. The pace is slower and the teaching is detailed: postures get broken down piece by piece so you can feel what’s meant to be working and adjust for your own body.

Over time you’ll build balance, strength and confidence. Some weeks the class works towards more challenging shapes — including inversions — but these are always an invitation, never a requirement. If your version of the pose that day is a rest, that’s a fine version. Beginners and experienced practitioners genuinely both belong here, because everyone works at their own edge.

Attend your way: come to Oakwood Church, or join live on Zoom from home. Jenny emails the Zoom link the day before class, so we’ll need your email address when you book. The link is never published on the website.

Friday

Vinyasa — All Levels

£10 pay as you go

Students holding a standing side bend across the wooden floor of Oakwood Church hall, arms reaching up and arching to the side; a large wooden cross is mounted on the far wall

A flowing class linking breath to movement. Expect to move, expect options at every stage, and expect to finish feeling like you’ve done something. “All levels” means it here: postures come with variations so you choose how far to take things, and Jenny teaches to the room in front of her, not to an imaginary advanced class.

In person only, at Oakwood Church. Sixteen places.

Booking your spot

Online booking with your own account is coming soon. Until then, booking is refreshingly simple — send Jenny a message and she’ll confirm your place:

New to Yoga with Jenny?

New students can try 3 classes for £20 — any mix of Wednesday and Friday, in person or online, valid for 4 weeks from your first class. Just mention the intro offer when you message Jenny to book — there’s no code to redeem. Not combinable with a membership.

Paying for a class

Pay-as-you-go classes are paid at class — cash, bank transfer, or card on Jenny’s card machine. Booking online doesn’t take payment. Members simply turn up (or log in to Zoom).

Can’t make it?

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel a class booking, so your mat can go to someone else.

What to bring

  • A yoga mat if you have one — and if you don’t, Jenny has spares, so don’t let that stop you coming
  • Water, and a layer for the relaxation at the end
  • Comfortable clothes you can move in — nothing fancy required

Arrive about ten minutes early for your first visit so there’s time to say hello and get settled. Directions, parking and accessibility details are on the venue page.
